For over a decade, the Revie Sorey Trunk Scholarships at Ada S. McKinley Community Services have provided high school graduates of our College Preparation and Placement Program with essentials to help ensure their success in starting their college journey.
We invite you to sponsor a Trunk Scholarship and join in equipping Chicago area students, many of whom are the first in their family to attend college and from low-income backgrounds, with the tools they need for academic success and to transition to campus living.
Trunks will be distributed directly to students at a summer event with safety and social distancing best practices in place. Our Memento Book will feature each Trunk Scholar and the college they will attend together with the winning student essays. As we transition out of the pandemic, we ask you to let our students know their future matters to you. Your contribution will help ensure they have the necessities for pursuing their college dream.
